Mark since you are the LT1 expert in here tell me if this sounds right. I bought ported heads off the classifieds a while back. Keep in mind they were designed for a 385 with a 200 shot. The runners were never cc'd but they are visibly bigger than stock. Valves are 2.02/1.60, 58cc combustion chambers. They got flowed today (im hoping this was a screw up by the shop that flowed them) but at 555 lift they flowed 227/195? Im hoping they meant 272/195. Im going to get the flow sheet tomorrow and if it says that im going to ask them to reflow them to 600 lift.

Let me put it this way. Stock LT1 is 212 cfm, stock LT4 is 240. I have bigger runners/valves than LT4s and I'm flowing less?

Your flow rate might be a little slower, But you will have more volume of air per flow rate, which is a good thing.

Considering everyone with heads similar to mine is flowing 270/195 roughly I'm hoping the 227 is a 272.

Yes Mark, both are ported. I got the flowsheet for the heads, I still think the intake flow is wrong, but the dyno will tell how well my combo works. Im expecting 370-400 at the wheels
